A clear, step-by-step guide to choosing a template, personalizing its content, checking every interaction and publishing your own Wishly link.
You do not need to write code. Start with a template made for your occasion, then use the editor to personalize the parts that template supports.

Open the Template Library, select an occasion such as Birthday, Proposal, Anniversary, Wedding, Invitation Cards, Sorry, Miss You, Friendship, Letter or Thank You, and preview the options.
Open the template in the editor. Click a highlighted text, image, video, audio item or button to see the editing controls available for that specific template.
Use the recipient’s preferred name, real memories and wording that sounds like you. Replace sample content carefully; avoid adding private details you do not want public.
Open Settings in the desktop Builder toolbar. On a phone, tap Settings in the bottom toolbar, or open More (⋯) → Design settings. Choose one of the colour presets or enter a custom HEX colour, then select a font. The preview updates as you choose; settings are saved for the template you are editing, not every website.
Preview switches the page into its visitor experience. Try the visible reveal, next/back, answer, gift, chapter, cake, letter, countdown or replay interactions that are part of your selected template. Check the event date and time on invitation templates.
Save your draft, then use the available Create Live Link/Publish action. Open the resulting public URL separately and check that the published version loads correctly on a phone.
Send the link to the people it was made for. Ask before sharing someone else’s photos, personal details or a private celebration publicly, and keep the link private when the moment is meant to be personal.
Edit mode lets you select supported content. Preview lets you experience the page as a visitor. Always test interactive sections in Preview before publishing.
A saved draft is for continuing your work. Publishing creates or updates the public version. Open the actual live link once after publishing to confirm it works.
Use media you are allowed to share. Check cropping, captions and playback. Audio may start muted or be restricted by the visitor’s browser, so keep important instructions visible as text.
In the desktop Builder, choose Settings from the top navigation. On mobile, tap Settings in the bottom toolbar, or open More (⋯) → Design settings. Choose a preset or custom HEX colour and a font. The choices are stored for the template currently open; they do not change your other templates. Select Original to restore that template’s font or reset its colour to the default.
Only edit fields that the selected template exposes. Some templates contain special chapter, countdown or game interactions; others focus on a letter. Follow the dedicated guide below.
Each template has its own instructions based on its story and interactive features. Search by template name or narrow the list by occasion.
Preview the entire page from its first screen to its ending. Confirm the details below before sharing the link.
